Jean-Philippe Tanguay, 16 ans, rêve de devenir agent de joueurs de hockey. Il a donc pris son cousin Yves Tanguay, ancien joueur de la LNH, sous son aile. Yves évolue désormais au sein d'une équipe amateur appelée Les Barbares de La Malbaie. Après une blessure, Yves doit quitter momentanément l'équipe, mais, lorsque cette dernière se rend jusqu'au championnat canadien, l'éternel adolescent refuse d'être écarté. Malgré les recommandations de son médecin et de son coach, il se lance sur la route avec JP pour participer au match et remettre sa carrière sur les rails.

Jean-Philippe Tanguay has always been passionate about hockey and dreams on becoming a player agent. His cousin that he idolizes, Yves Tanguay is a former NHL player now part of an amateur hockey team; The Barbarians of The Bay. When the team qualified for the Canadian championship, Yves persuaded his young cousin to go to Thunder Bay with him to participate in the championship. Seeing it as a unique opportunity for their careers growth the two cousins embark on a road trip. On the way, they will discover the price to pay to realize their dreams..
